INTERNET MARKETING SPECIALIST

Candidate Responsibilities
• SEO optimization of our websites, including optimizing current web page designs and working with our development team outside and inside on projects that are being developed or planned
• Sourcing and working with an Editorial team on content development for blogs, etc
• Link building
• Keyword research
• Competitor analysis
• PPC Management, including across all channels, such as Google, Facebook, etc.
• Monitoring search engine ranking of websites owned by company
• Driving and improving traffic to the web properties using SEO methods
• Along with SEO, the ideal candidate will also be being doing work with online marketing and affiliate marketing.
• Keeping up to date on the latest SEO trends and changes
• Working with social networking sites such as article portals, blogs, twitter, facebook, etc.

Skills Required:
• Must be an Information Technology Graduate
• A minimum of 2 years SEO experience for a medium size company, or equivalent freelance work
• A documented, proven track record for driving traffic, link building, etc.
• Knowledge of white hat SEO methods and best practices – no ‘bad’ linking allowed or wanted!
• Knowledge and understanding of current search engine algorithms/methods
• Basic programming and web design knowledge, and how it effects SEO
• Strong understanding of how Wordpress works.
